Hi,
How do I perform a morphological search in Logos 4 with the following criteria? noun followed by an adjective and they agree in gender and number. I know this kind of search can be performed by Graphical Query Editor in Libronix 3. Thanks.
Hi Ka-Liong
For this you need a "Syntax Search" - see http://wiki.logos.com/Setting_up_a_Syntax_Search for more information
An example to address your specific query is shown below:
Hope this helps
Graham
Hi Graham,
Thanks for your help. I expect this kind of search to be under morphological search. Do you know how to do the same search that allows the noun and adjective within certain number of words between them?
I did an unordered search as in the example below. This search crashed Logos 4 consistently.
Here is the crash log.

Ka,
A morph search does not have a perimeter for agreement. For a text search to approximate this morph search you will need something like this.
(@NA BEFORE @R??A) OR (@ND BEFORE @R??D) OR (@NG BEFORE @R??G) OR (@NN BEFORE @R??N)
This is the type of search that makes a case for the return of graphical search. Consider voting for it on Uservoice.

My system also crashes if I do your search - though with a different log. I will flag this in the Beta forum and link back to here.
It works fine with a group (not-unordered) as per below:
If you want the terms to be separated by up to a certain number of words you can use the "Anything" construct as below
