B6 CRASH: Notefile whie hitting enter after verse reference in list

I have had this crash 3 times. In a notefile, while typing in a list, if the last text typed is a verse reference within Parentheses, i.e. (Hebrews 4:11), upon hitting enter, the program crashes. If I hit space-bar before I hit enter (in order to convert the reference into a hyperlink), then the crash did not occur and a hyperlink is successfully created.

(On a side-note, I don't think my error reporting--send error report to Microsoft--works. It'll stay up for like 30 minutes before I finally close it so I can relaunch the program.)

I just tested this crash on another machine...works like a charm

and

crashes it (both in XP and 64-bit Vista).

I can't reproduce this. Have you tried this in a new Note file, or does it only happen in a certain Note file?

Nope I was just able to crash it again in a completely different note file.

Type

(John 3:16) or whatever verse you want and then without hitting space, hit enter...immediate crash (Logos Bible Software 4 has stopped working...close program)

I just made a brand new note file (I had previously only crashed existing note files), and it worked like a charm...immediate crash.

I can reproduce this now -- I was focusing on 'hitting enter after verse reference' and kept missing the 'parentheses' part. It works fine in a note's top text box, but typing verse with parentheses and pressing Enter in bottom text box causes crash everytime. I'll report it.

I did notice that if I press spacebar first, before pressing Enter, it doesn't crash.
