BUG: 4.2a Beta 2: a phrase search on "a prisoner for Christ" hangs for 45 seconds before starting se
So far the phrase searching has been awesome in this beta but I found a hang-up.
When you perform a "Bible Search in Eph 3:1 for the phrase "a prisoner for Christ" using the following criteria:
All passages
Searching ESV
Using the "verses" view
Logos will hang (without the "not responding" message on the tool bar) and just sit like nothing is happening...but then after 45 seconds the search begins and completes at lightening speed.
I've not seen an issue with other phrases I've tried.

What search results view is selected, and what Bibles are being searched?

Tried to duplicate it for Robert - I tried Bible search of Eph 3.1, ESV for "a prisoner for Christ" and it came back immediately (0.30 seconds) with no hang. Not sure if that's exactly what he did or not.

PS: AFTER it completes; it actually performs the search quite quickly...0.17 seconds!

And does it always hang the first time you search after closing the search panel (or Logos) and reopening?

Yes....every time exactly the same way. Whether you close Logos or not...or run the search one right after the other..it's exactly the same.
But only on this particular phrase, I've tried a dozen others and never had a problem...the logs were attached...did they show anything?

I didn't see anything, but I've submitted it to development.

I can only reproduce this problem by selecting the phrase in Eph 3:1, right-clicking it, and choosing "Search this resource" from the context menu.
Are you getting the hang even if you click the search icon to open a new Search panel and type in the query?

it seems to be related to the "right click" action.
I right clicked the text and selected it and Logos hung for about 45 seconds....THEN the search box came up and the search was fine...
And just typing the phrase in is fine also...it's that right-click on the text that's doing it.

Are you getting the hang even if you click the search icon to open a new Search panel and type in the query?
A search from the Search panel is OK!
I get it to hang just by right clicking the phrase:-
It spins its wheels for about 3 minutes before populating the menu. If I quickly close the menu I cannot make a selection for about 1 minute (CPU remains at 13%). Other phrases take several seconds to populate.
