Editing any (user-defined) style expands all palettes and scrolls to the top of the entire list of palettes/visual styles, making it really painful to work.

Congratulations! You have been really busy finding bugs. I can confirm this one, and it is irritating.

[:)]  I'm not actually trying to find bugs - rather, I'm going about my studies and trying to mark things up, etc.  This morning I've been trying to reproduce the same semantic markup patterns that I've used for years in my printed Bibles (including shapes and symbols in the margins, etc) using Logos visual styles.  It's pretty doable now.  But along the way I'm running into these various bugs - including the uber-annoying 15-second, 100% CPU bug when applying new highlighting... :-(

That is the best way to find bugs. Since all of us have differing study habits, some will find bugs that escaped the notice of developers, and maybe even the attention of many users. Keep using the application and report the failings. That is the way L4 Mac will improve.

I could not reproduce that problem, but I am using Leopard which you have Snow Leopard. I wonder if that is a factor. My MBP with Snow Leopard is on the Stable Channel, and I don't want to change it, but I wonder if anyone else who is on 10.6 can confirm your experience.

I've submitted the bug report to development. Thanks.
