iPhone App 1.5.1 on 3G 4.2.1 delay of 20 seconds to see Bible...
The latest version of the iPhone app is worse than the previous version on my iPhone 3G...
The last app took 10 seconds to load a bible verse, this one takes 20 seconds. It does allow for 20 page turns though before it reloads... Great for reading forwrds, but if you go back one page, it takes another 20 seconds...
Is anyone else experiencing this kind of delay???
I have internet on through Wifi,
As far as I am concerned, this is unusable for real world bible study, or for following along with a speaker, or even using myself while speaking. I cannot wait 20 seconds while bouncing between verses...
How come other apps come up immediately, but Logos' app takes so long between verses???

Are you able to download resources for offline use? That will very significantly improve the speed of the app.

Actually, This is using downloaded Bibles...
Unless, that is, I am doing something wrong. The Bible has an airplane on it so I am assuming it is downloaded.

And have all these resources been re-downloaded since 1.5 came out? Go onto your home page when you have an internet connection to find out if any updates are due.

Didn't see that Update section before, the app after a few seconds just loads the Bible, so I never paid attention to that page... It could probably be handled in a better way.
I went to the library page, and no updates were indicated, I looked at the book itself and there was no indication of an update needed there either. Only in that updates section on the main page...
Maybe if an update is necessary, it could be indicated on the book somehow in the library...
