New Books Missing In Series
Just 2 examples:
New American Commentary: Zechariah
Anchor Yale Bible: Nahum
When I added those books by purchase the other day they didn't go into the library series for these collections (series). Is there something that I'm missing, that I need to do so they will be prioritized with same series, or is this something I have to manually do? I would like them in the series (library) anyway. thanks

The metadata exists for NAC Zech. You should not have to do anything beyond waiting up to 6 hours for it to be downloaded.

Ok, when I type in New American in the library under "title" I do see Zechariah listed; when I go into library and click "series" and go under New American Commentary I don't have that book listed under that commentary series. Is this just the way it is, or do I supposed to manually add to the series to have it come up on the list?

I suppose I can wait and see if it eventually appears; so from what you said I guess there is one down load for a book "sometimes" and one other to put it into a series if you have an existing one.

When you see NAC Zech in Library what is listed in the "Series" column?

Hi Tim,
I just added the NAC Zech yesterday. I went to library, typed "series:"New American" and scrolled to the bottom and the resource was there. Here is a screenshot:

Ok this is a problem then, when I type "series:"New American" I don't have the Zech show up; and to answer Dave when I have Zech show up the series column is blank.
Sorry I'm communicating this badly, but I think I finally got it, John has it, but I don't. (though I have the book

When NAC Zech is in library title column, blank is in my series column.
John,
When I typed "series:"New American" every book is listed except Zech.
So I think that clears up my communication of the problem, I'm all thumbs.

I am running L4 Mac if that makes a difference.. but it appears you may have a problem. Sorry that I do not know how to fix it. Tech support should be able to help.

This sounds like a Metadata issue. Logos will need to change it to recognize the Zech. commentary as part of the series.
http://wiki.logos.com/Metadata_correction_proposals lists this as one of the changes needed. Hopefully Logos will get around to it at some point in time.

It shouldn't be on that list. It is set correctly on my system, as it is on John Fidel's screenshot above.
Sometimes the metadata updates take a day or so to sync up. Also, restarting Logos can help effect changes.

Actually, it's under "Corrections addressed by Logos", meaning that it has already been fixed. But the format of that page doesn't make it clear.

John said he was Mac so I'm guessing that is why his is correct and I'm windows so I'm not corrected. This is a day after the book was added so I'm not sure if it is still coming down the pipe to put it into series.
But thanks for the input - Blessings
(I'm guessing someone did put this under a corrections with logos)
ps - this isn't the only individual commentary that is missing from series with other commentary sets but hey, I can get to the book and it does come up doing a passage guide on a Zech passage but it does need to go to the series when added to the library, just as a matter of course

New American Commentary volumes Isaiah 40-66 and Zechariah need to be in the New American Commentary series/, plus they have a different name and publisher format than the other volumes (add The to title!)
I see, this is addressed, but it doesn't seem like this would of taken this long to fix, but thus I'm up to speed that this is a circular post - sorry

Although I am also a Mac user, I checked the series tag in L4 Win in the first response to your OP. The series was there for Zechariah then. Do you have the correct series tag now?

The series metadata does exist for NAC Zech. I have it on all my Windows systems, so should you.
In the resource Information (i) do you have
LLS:NAC21B

NAC21B.logos4in Support Info?
Also try the Command update resources (which may cause a download + index).
