Moulton-Turner Grammar of New Testament Greek - vol 3 - A good buy?

I'm thinking of picking up the 3rd volume (Syntax) of the Moulton Turner Grammar separately while it's out at half price on Christmas sale. I'd be very grateful for any user comment on how it functions in Logos as a reference grammar alongside BDF, Wallace, Zerwick, etc. I can't afford the whole Moulton/Turner package but I thought this might a worthwhile chunk of it to own. Has anyone found it a useful tool for exegetical study of particular passages?

I'm interested too in why the product desciption of the stand-alone volume 3 features a different cover and a different page length (440 against 417) from the volume described in the complete Moulton/Turner grammar package. Different editions?

They're the same. The 417 is taken directly from the book itself and doesn't include the prefatory material. The 440 page count is from the publisher website and does include the prefatory material.

The grammar you choose to get depends on what you already have. What other Greek grammars do you own? I hesitate to break up a set. I realize that price is a very real consideration, and I don't know whether this is possible, but have you contacted a sales rep to see whether you could get the entire set on a payment plan?

Michael - Thanks for you answer. It did clear the matter up.

George - I currently own Wallace (in print and Logos format) and BDF, along with the "Max and Mary" Grammatical Analysis, which I've just started linking to Zerwick's little grammar illustrated by examples. Wallace is the only one that I'm working my way through cover to cover - the others I consult for exegetical purposes via the Cited By tool in Logos or through the Exegetical Guide. I suppose that's how I envisaged using the Turner Volume on Syntax, until I get the time to delve into it in more detail.
