Updated SBL Greek New Testament

Hmmm.... all those print copies passed out at SBL are now obsolete, or at least in need of an errata sheet.

Hi Folks.

We've recently pushed an update to the SBLGNT (http://sblgnt.com ; http://www.logos.com/sblgnt ) which will cause the following resources to be downloaded (if you're on Logos 4, have the resources, and have internet features enabled):

SBLGNT.logos4 (text of the edition, with morphology/etc.)
SBLGNTAPP.logos4 (apparatus)
LGNTISBL.logos4 (Lexham Greek-English Interlinear of the NT: SBL Edition)

The LDLS3 versions are also available on ftp://ftp.logos.com/lbxbooks

The text of the SBLGNT did not change, there are three corrections to the apparatus and some resulting corrections in the introduction where counts. Thanks to Dave Hooton for a few of these. Here are the updates, if you're interested; with page numbers if you happen to have a print edition:

1: Table of Contents: Πράξεις Ἀποστόλοων should be Πράξεις Ἀποστόλων (remove extra omicron after lamda)

2: Apparatus, Mark 8:35 (p. 90):  • ⸄ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ⸅ Treg NIV RP ] ἑαυτοῦ ψυχὴν WH

Should be:  • ⸄ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ⸅ WH NIV ] ἑαυτοῦ ψυχὴν Treg RP

3: Apparatus, Luke 19:38 (p. 171):  38 βασιλεὺς WH NIV ] ὁ βασιλεὺς Treg RP

Should be:  38 βασιλεὺς Treg RP ] ὁ βασιλεὺς WH NIV

4: Apparatus, Luke 21:19 (p. 176):  19 κτήσασθε WH NIV RP ] κτήσεσθε Treg

Should be:  19 κτήσασθε NIV RP ] κτήσεσθε WH Treg

5: Print edition: Page header, p. 208 (John):  “7:53–8:20” should be “7:52–8:20”

I just checked mine in Logos 4 after getting the latest updates and I still show:

A comparison of this new text with the four editions listed above, using as the data base the 6,928 variation units recorded in the accompanying apparatus (described below), reveals the following patterns of agreement and difference:

I know the resources have been rebuilt and are pending release; whether they've actually been released yet or not I do not know. They should come soon.

I checked this morning, I don't think the updates are out yet, I do not see the changes nor is "Last Updated" a more recent date on the SBLGNT resources. But thanks for the update Rick, we'll keep an eye out for them!
