Windows7 Libonronix 3.0 update issue

Hello,
I have just purchased a resource that is supposed to work under Libronix and I have a Windows 7 64 bit machine and OS. I am an existing Libronix license holder back from around 2004, but I did not have any resources or licenses installed from my previous Scholar package, as those resource discs are packed away in storage.
The new resource came with a Libronix installer on the CD-ROM and that seemed to work ok until I tried to update from the website. I got an error message which said:
Error Code: 18, Failed moving file: C:\Program Files (x86)Libronix DLS\Inbound\oeb.lbxrtp
I have tried uninstalling Libronix and reinstalling from the website, but I continue to get this same error code message. You should also know that I initially attempted to update Libronix with my old license backup file which seemed to be recognized just fine with my old email address and license code. However, once I attempted the first update of Libronix, I kept getting messages that said only a Libronix Administrator could perform certain functions.
Can you please tell me how to get things working so I can #1. Use the resource I just purchased and #2. eventually reinstall the original Libronix Scholar resources I purchased several years ago. I have to admit, I have not had good success with Libronix products which is one reason I shelved it...too many bugs and quirky behavior.
Thanks for any assistance you can provide here.

I just did a search for the "Error Code 18" message and found this forum post:
http://community.logos.com/forums/p/12456/96885.aspx#96885
It seems that my problem is related to the resources that I need to install from my old discs which are in storage. Is there any way to download old resources if you don't have the original discs, but do have the licenses? It's not the best time of year to be digging through boxes at the outside storage bin...

First attempt the procedure I referred you to. The other post concerned two different errors so may not work for you.
Second, if you can get into Libronix and be sure your licenses are synched, there is a script that you can use to download all the newest files for each of the 3.0 libraries. I don't know if it works if your resources folder doesn't have older copies of the resources, however. There are two other options. You can download directly from the Logos ftp site the resources you should have, but without a list that seems impossible. Second, you can order a DVD with the resources from Logos. Look here for the update script to try and info on ordering the DVD: http://wiki.logos.com/LE_Resources_for_Logos_3
Here is the ftp site: ftp://ftp.logos.com/lbxbooks/
You can also try Tech Support to see if there is another option to getting the resources you have a license for.

Thanks Mark,
I did the procedure you mentioned, as I saw you had posted in the interim. That worked nicely after I uninstalled again and reinstalled from the CD-ROM without adding in the confusion of my license backup. Although, I noticed after I got it all updated that my license codes had been retained anyhow. So, all good for now with the new resource (Complete Works of Oswald Chambers), all updated and activated.
I am going to just bite the bullet and head to the storage bin for the old discs, but if I can't find them, I was hoping/thinking there was a list of resources associated with the license file...seems like there should be. Anyway, I will cross that bridge when/if necessary. Thank you for your kind and prompt assistance!

I made a trip to the storage bin to try and locate my old discs without success. We just have too many boxes to unpack for it to be feasible right now.
I came back to the Libronix program interface and found a listing of my registered products. I see the one I just installed and the original one called "Pastor's Library (QB)" along with some product serial numbers and activation codes. I guess I'll try and see if tech support can direct me to the right downloads. Thanks again for your help!

Here is a listing of the resources in the Pastor's Library (QB).http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_Series_X_Pastor%27s_Library
There is no similar Library in the later releases so the script I pointed you to won't help, but perhaps you can use this list and the ftp site to get all of your resources. If you are using Windows Internet Explorer you can speed things up by opening the ftp site up in Windows Explorer. Follow the directions at the top of the page that opens on the ftp site:
This takes a minute to do but will allow you to use CRTL-click to mark multiple files and drag them to your Libronix Resources folder so they are downloaded together rather than one file at a time from the ftp site if you go directly from Internet Explorer.

Thanks again, Mark,
I finally got all the resources downloaded last night and this morning using a download manager. All licensed resources now recognized and unlocked as far as I can tell. [Y]
