Adding content from my Library in the passage guide

I've searched around and haven't found an answer to this, so I apologize if I just missed it.
I'm making the assumption that when I put a passage (say Rom 1) into my search field and hit go it will search my entire library...
With that said what I want to know is how can I easily see related content (to Rom 1) in my passage guide view from the whole of my library. It automatically brings this up in my commentaries, etc, but I have other resources in my library that would have information related to my search. But, as of yet, I cannot figure out how to see other books in my library with this same content. For instance, I recently added the John Piper sermon library. This should bring up results when I search Rom 1.
Is there a way to add a section in my passage guide that would display all the search results from the rest of my library, not merely the commentaries, cross references, biblical people, and so forth and what is brought up in the exegetical guide?
Thanks for your help.

I'm not on Mac but on the PC you can add Collections to the Guide which does what you are asking.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Wiki page has collections information => http://wiki.logos.com/Collections (may want to create one for John Piper sermons)
Wiki also has Guide customization example => http://wiki.logos.com/Customizing_the_Passage_and_Exegetical_Guides
Learned using Collections | All Resources in a Passage Guide for Romans 1 returns lots of results in library - choosing a collection helpful.

What you have described here would require a Basic Search of your Entire Library, not the Passage Guide. However, be aware that such a search will yield more hits than you can reasonably utilize. My Library of 3300+ resources produces more than 44K hits.

Jason,
you can add anything you want to a Passage Guide...provided it's in a collection.
For example you can make a "Piper Sermons" collection and then add it to a custom guide...I've done that for all kinds of things...Archeological Resources...Systematic theologies...
Just click on "Guides>make a new guide template"
Then click on any of the sections of the PG that you want to include...including the "collections" section to add it to your guide.
then, in your newly added collections section, choose your "Piper sermons" collection.
You can add as many of these collections sections as you want...
Name the guide "My Passage Guide" and then exit it.
When you launch it from now on...you'll see relevant hits from your Piper collection.
Here is my custom PG:
