Bug: NIBC Series: Strange Behaviors

1. New International Biblical Commentary resource "1 and 2 Peter and Jude" does not respond as if it is part of the NIBC series.
If I link a Bible to my NIBC resource while in Matthew, then change my Bible to a passage in 1 Peter, the NIBC series does not follow to 1 Peter (or 2 Peter or Jude). I have to open up "1 and 2 Peter and Jude" separately, as if it does not belong to the series.
2. When I prioritized the NIBC series, it lists it as 17 volumes, but it is in fact 18. I'm guessing that it is not including the above resource in it's series.
3. When in the library pane, I search for "NIBC" and only 4 resources appear, when there are in fact 18. ("1 and 2 Thessalonians", "1, 2 and 3 John", "Luke", and "Revelation").
Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with 1 and 2 Peter and Jude. I know that book was released later.
But how did you prioritize the 17 volumes of NIBC if your library pane only lists 4 volumes?
Have you tried doing an "update resources" command?

To prioritize the 17 volumes, I right-clicked one of the NIBC books and selected "Prioritize this series."
I tried doing an "update resources" command and it told me there were no available updates.
No luck yet.

Hi Devin,
Hopefully someone with some knowledge will get on here and give you some help on this problem. I have a separate thread going with some issues of resources not being available and not updating. I have been told it is due to corrupt resources. You might try looking at that thread to see if there are some helpful things there for you...

This is the info for 1 and 2 Peter and Jude.

Excellent. That date confirms that you have the latest build. The problem seems to be your Library Catalogue.
Your "Use Internet" is set to "yes"?
Your "Automatically Download Updates" is set to "yes"?
If so, restart Logos 4, open your Library and see if "Updating your Library" message is displaying inside the Library window. It should happen fast so be quick...

Thanks very much Jannie. When I restarted L4M, it said "Preparing your library." Was this what you were looking for?
In any case, 1 and 2 Peter and Jude are now included in the NIBC series, and consequentially, the NIBC series behaves properly when switching to applicable text in a linked Bible.
Although, when I search "NIBC" in my library, it still does not list all the volumes. (Only the initial 4 that I listed above, and now also 1 and 2 Peter and Jude).
I can live with this, since it rarely affects my functionality. But I wanted to be sure to let you know. Have a blessed new year!

You might try refreshing the LibraryCatalog files. After quitting Logos 4, delete the contents of your LibraryCatalog folder found in /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/uniquefolder. Any tags or other changes made to the catalog will be resynched after restarting the program.

I accidentally deleted my whole library. Ugh. It is re-downloading now. I guess I need to read the instructions a little closer.

Well, 6.51 GB later, my resources are completely updated and indexed. All is well with NIBC. Thanks Jannie and Melissa. Have a wonderful new year in the Lord.
