Program install frozen

I have downloaded the Logos4Setup.exe file, clicked on it, and it downloaded the 40+MB file no problem. AFter going though a few more steps, the program installation freezes. The wiki video says that it should only take a moment - but mine has been going for 3 hours.
Please help.

Cortney, go ahead and use Task Manager to stop Logos 4.
We will need some more information from you. First we will need computer information: your operating system, CPU and speed, size of your hard drive and free space on it, and amount of RAM you have.
Second, you will need to enable diagnostic logging. See the following article on how to enable it permanently. When we ask for log files you'll need to zip all of them together and attach them to a post using the paperclip icon on the compose message panel. http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging
Once you enable diagnostic logging, we'd like to see a fresh start. Remove all the Logos 4 components from your system using the Control Panel. You should find two: Logos 4 Prerequisites and Logos Bible Software 4. Reboot before you try a reinstall.
Check this page on the wiki and be sure you are following the installation directions correctly, then reinstall Logos 4: http://wiki.logos.com/Installation_and_Indexing_FAQ%27s
If Logos 4 crashes attach the log files to another post and tell us the steps you took and what you observed.

I don't know what's going on, but even uninstalling this thing is taking 30+ min....

That is definitely excessive.
While you are waiting, fill me in on your computer specs and operating system, please.
Also, was there any Logos information on the screen as it was installing? When it seemed to take forever what did you actually see?

The box that I see is the "Windows Installer"..."Preparing to remove"
After letting it run all night, I get a box "Install server not responding" (Retry or Cancel)
Specs:
Vista Home Edition, 32 bit
AMD processor
2 GB RAm
Dell Inspiron 1501
17.3 GB free of 101 GB
