Problem Using Greek Dictionaries
I recently purchased Logos 4 for Mac. I have all these wonderful Greek dictionaries at the bottom of my screen, below the Bible display. When I click on any of the words, all that pops up is the Louw Nida dictionary, even when I am already inside the TDNT or Liddell. I can access those dictionaries by going into the exegetical guide and searching word by word, but that is very slow. How can I access the other dictionaries as easily as Low-Nida? Why do the others not respond when I click on a Greek word? Any suggestions??? Thanks!!

Logos will show whatever is your "preferred" resource for a given type; greek, hebrew, etc.
You have to go to your library, find whatever the resource is that you want to show, then right click and choose "prioritize this resource" and then drag it above all your other greek lexicons....

Thanks I will try that, but is it not possible to use those other dictionaries as well. Am I locked into only one dictionary? If I have say, 4 dictionaries on my screen, can I not compare the translations given by the different dictionaries??

HI Aaron,
Open the lexicons you want to compare and then link them together. When you double click on a greek text your preferred lexicon will open and the others will link to the same lemma. I am not on my Mac so I cannot show you a screen shot of how to link. If you have questions perhaps someone else can provide one. Also you can use the cmd right arrow to scroll through all your lexicons. Lastly, there is the parallel resource icon you can use.
There are 3 ways to accomplish what you want. I apologize I cannot provide better details for you at this time.

You can save a little screen real estate by creating a collection of your lexicons and using the Parallel Resources button.

And of course also once you have done both things (prioritising and linking) you don't necessarily need to have the Greek text displayed; you can right click on any word in the English Bible text and get a popup menu like this and choose a Lemma lookup via any of the prioritised lexicons.
