Free Books on Site, but no Software on Computer...Impossible to have on iPhone?
Hello,
I purely have the iPhone app for Logos and nothing else, but was excited to find out that the Book of Common Prayer was free on the site now and also available for the iPhone. I went through the process of adding it to my cart and "ordering" it. It now seems as if I was foolish in thinking I would be able to get this on my phone since I do not have basic Logos software on my computer.
Is this a correct assumption and I am truly out of luck or am I missing some step altogether. I tried to browse a couple of pages to search for this on the forum to avoid redundancy, but could not come across a related query so my apologies and please feel free to roll your eyes!

Hi J.D. - and welcome to the forums.
There was a related discussion to this recently - http://community.logos.com/forums/t/28129.aspx - and the conclusion seems to be that you need at least a base Logos 4 capability to view books on the iPhone

I did see that one you referenced, but I do not even have Libronix either so I am even further out of the loop than that instance.
That does make more sense, though. Unfortunate, but cheapskates can't complain much!

You may be interested in the recent post by Dave Dunkin (Logos Developer) who states there is an exception for books featured on FreeBookPreview.com
