INSTALLATION: disable auto-sign in

How can I change user in Logos4? When I installed the software for the first time, it didn't prompt me for any user/password.
I had the software as a gift. As I've understood, I need to login to his (the one gave me the Logos software) to be able to download the libraries. But now I cannot because the software doesn't show any popup for sign in.
Please help. And many thanks in advance.

As the program is launching hold down the command key, that should bring up the sign-in prompt

Elaine,
No...you cannot log into any other users account.
The Logos software is "one copy per user" license. Whoever is registered to use that particular piece of software is the only person that is allowed to use it.
A person cannot give you a registered copy of the software.

Hi Kevin, thanks for your reply. I tried that but the sign-in window still won't prompt. Do you have any advise on this?

Hi Robert,
Thanks for your reply. I'm not trying to have another user use the software that i have purchased. My problem is that I'm trying to install the software into a machine that already has a logos user signed in to it. The problem is that this other users didn't purchase the software. Whenever we try to launch the software, it automatically signs in this user; Thus, we cannot access the resources entitled to my user in this machine.
Is there anyway to stop this auto-signing in of the logos software? Or anyway for us to change the user to my username so that we can access the resources in this particular machine?
Thanks.

Make sure you hold down the command key until you get the login window. Just holding it down while you click the app icon isn't enough.

Hi Todd,
Yes, I tried to press the command button but it still continued to sign in. [:(]

Hi Elaine
What you should do is go back one step and set up a new user account for yourself on the machine.
Once you have done this you can install L4Mac into your user space and then download your resources.
This way you will have conformed to the licence conditions ie you have your resources only available to you while you are the user.

I think I found the solution. I deleted the UserManager.db in myAccount -> Library -> Application Support -> Logos4 -> Users.
Thanks everyone for your immediate reply!
