Pre-Pub Overkill

I love LOGOS4 and the Pre-Pub program. Just need to vent.Angry

I have 11 pre-pubs, ordered over a period of 18 months, totaling around $1,000, all being shipped within 2 days. Most of them individually I could afford, possibly even 2-3 of them at a time over 3-4 months but all at once, forget it. I guess I'm going to have to cancel most of them. CryingThe struggle is, which ones.

I'm done. Smile Thanks for listening.

Have a blessed day and stay in the Word.

Contact someone in sales and discuss how you can spread the purchases, Dan Pritchett has already recognised that there is a challenge with the number of prepubs shipping in a short space of time and has promised to try and help. Key is don't cancel anything until you have checked with someone at Logos to see how they can help you.

    God Bless

I've often stared at the same problem.  My working solution is to stock a paypal acct with a bit of cash to handle the sudden expense.  Well that's my plan, the execution is another thing entirely.  [:^)]

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

If I recall some of the pre-pubs coming out in Jan 2011 were originally coming out in December. They were pushed back because of Christmas and New Year's expenses. I believe I may have been in the minority in wanting to have them delivered in December. I did end up taking advantage of the Christmas sales and am now finding myself in the same predicament as you. I have apox $1400 in pre-pubs in January alone. I am taking another look at the items I have in pre-pub. I hate to use my entire year's book allowance in the first month and a half of the new year.

I like the number of pre-pubs coming out and personally don't think Logos' slowing down production so that I can afford everything I want is the answer. The year end sale taught me that there is always a chance to pick up some of the items I want in a future sale if I can't afford the pre-pub now.

    Just my 2 cents

I am in need of another delayed program to pick up the pre-pubs I want over a longer period of time.  Because of your last one I will be able to pick up some books this month that I would not been able to afford without that program.

It sure is great to see so many great books coming out, my wish is that there was some kind of long term discount for those that buy at lot of books, not that I own a lot of books but some day I will and some kind of discount based on previous buying would help me out and encourage me to buy more.

If I could work a steady job that would also help!

Jim I have a steady job, and still not able to keep up with my prepubs. I pray that you will find one soon. I like the idea of the "discount based on previous buying". It would certainly work for me.

Lynden, I was riding my bike with my son when I was hit by a truck about 6 years ago, I am always in pain and will never be able to work again.  So I am not one of those poor guys out of work because of the economy! I am thankful for that!

I was a pro cycling coach and strength trainer, but that is a world I can only dream of now!

But my son is still very involved in biking at the pro level.  He was recently on the TV show America's Got Talent and made it to the finals, he had a great time!

At least I have a lot of time to study, and I am working on my DTH degree.
