Logos Bible Software 4 has stopped working

I am getting the same problem I have seen reported by others. I followed the advice in the wiki.
Turned on logging, hold ctrl key when launching and at the sign in screen I check "Use Blank Layout" and click sign in. The signing in screen displays and then I get the "Logos Bible Software 4 has stopped working" error. I cannot get it to launch at all. I have performed a full uninstall and re-install without any success.
In checking the event viewer for applications I noticed that there is a corrisponding .Net error associated with the launch of Logos. The text with the error is ".NET Runtime version 2.0.50727.4206 - Unrecoverable system error." and I have run the .Net Fix tool and reinstalled .Net 1.1, 3.5, 4.0, and 4 extended.

I don't see any crash data in this log. Did it produce a separate crash log file? Does it "Stop working" every time"?
Do you know how to check your Event log for Critical Errors? (Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer). Are there any critical errors being reported on your system?
I wonder why the error is in .NET 2.0. Logos only uses .NET 3.5 doesn't it?

What problem (apart from crashing)? The log shows are running the latest beta version 4.2a. Did you install this because you thought it might resolve the problem you originally had with 4.2? If so, I recommend that you uninstall 4.2a and re-install 4.2. If the problem persists then you can get help from Logos Technical Support (who won't assist you with a beta version).

I have uninstalled the beta version which was installed as part of my troubleshooting and installed the 4.2 release. The log file only shows a few warnings but no crash info. It does crash everytime it is launched. Here is the full event error that logged everytime I try to run Logos 4. I really think this is a .Net problem but I can't seem to find a fix. Microsoft has been no help.

If you have any installation log files in \Documents\Logos Log Files or \temp\Logos Log Files please upload them. The information may be helpful, but I think you will need to contact Technical Support on this matter.
