Updating Layouts

You know what would be great? If the layouts (that are stored) would update as you use them. Maybe there's already a way to do this and I am not aware of it?
Here is what I mean. When you start a new layout and want to name it something it takes the snapshot of it so you can find it later. But when you pull it up add some more searches, tabs or notes to it they aren't automatically added to that layout that you used earlier and named. No I know it takes a 'snapshot' whenever you click the 'layouts' tab from the top but it would be great if you didn't always have to rename a layout something you've already named one just because it won't automatically update an existing one.
Or maybe I'm trying to use the wrong function to do something Logos already does. Is there a way to save what you are working on, pull it up later and continue to save it for easy finding later with the ability to add more searches, notes, etc to it?

Hi Chris
It isn't automatic (and I would find it difficult it if was as I often add in new things to a saved layout which I don't want the next time I open it) but are you aware of the "Update to Current Snapshot" capability?
From the Layout menu -> right-click on a layout and select the feature from the drop down.

Hope this helps

I am not sure I followed you. So in short if you click on layouts and then go to your existing layout on the left side of the menu and right click on it, you will see "update to current snapshot". You do not have to rename it. It will update when you click there. But you are right, you cannot automatically update your layout. On the other hand Logos will remember where you were when you close it.

Graham this does help. I just got Logos a few weeks ago so I am still learning some things. Thanks for the help.
