Logos Wish List - like Amazon
I would really like a wish list on the logos web site so that when I come across a resource i'd like to get, I can just click to add it to my wish list, and then when I am ready to buy (I have money to spend) I can just select resources from my wish list.
If it could work similar to the way Amazon.com and other web sites, it would be a great boon!
This would NOT be a wish list for resources to publish, but one for resources already available that I want to buy.

You can use a new feature that Amazon has to add
items to an Amazon wish list outside of Amazon.It puts a button on your browser and lets you add
that page to your wish list.

I have asked for this for two Christmases running now. In the meantime, as it is suggested, you can use Amazon.

My Amazon wish list is 9 pages long. I'm sure my Logos wish list would quickly attain to a similar length.

I might add besides a wish list as I have bought quite a bit through logos(have to be above 10k since I started a few years ago) as I have been buying a lot on Amazon-besides a wish list-on amazon when looking at a resource i see this highlighted bar on top that basically says, "Hey dummy-you bought this 8 months ago-don't buy it again!"
Now, this is not what it actually says but that has been a life saver on amazon when looking hetre-I have to either go back to my old orders and usually my library which after awhile becomes time consuming and as I know-have double bought at least once. This would help a lot

I had to start a new wish list besides all the stuff I have for buy for later on the buy list.
Maybe we are starting a new marketing thing here-people who buy a lot from Amazon also happens to buy a lot from Logos. How we pay the bills...I do not know

Beyond just a wishlist that links to the correct page on Logos, it should allow to provide the wishlist to others who can then buy the resource for you, and decide when it becomes available. E.g., Aunt Emma buys it for you, and it is added to your licenses and downloaded at or after Dec. 25 at 9 a.m.

Totally agree - needs others to be able to view your wish list, buy it and then have it added to your Library! This may need a "delay" feature as well .. e.g. imagine if your darling wife could buy NICOT/NT for you for Christmas, say during November, but you onl get the download on Christmas morning ... with a personalised message from the giver[;)][:O]
(The last bit about the message is a nice to have ... the first bit would be really nice to have!!!)

LOL! My wife purchased an upgraded base package of Logos for Christmas this last year, and ordered the DVD so I wouldn't have it yet. But as soon as I opened Logos 4 Mac Alpha, downloading they came a week early!

I too wish we had a wishlist of books that were now available in Logos. There are a few that I want to buy, but priority-wise, this is not the time...but then I forget about them later! This would certainly help!

I doubt they would spend developers' time and $ to create an exclusive wishlist when Amazon Universal wishlist is so functional (if someone wants a wishlist just for Logos resources - you can make a separate Amazon wishlist ans even make it public or private). The ONLY reason Amazon made this investment is for marketing. Logos has this functionality already with pre-pubs. How would it benefit Logos to produce an exclusive wishlist functionality? I think they can effectively market already-produced titles cheaper by other means.

Has this been added yet? I, too, would LOVE to have a Logos Wish List in Logos. It might help Logos, as well, to monitor what their customers are giving high priority to for future purchases.

Not yet Francey, but there is some indication that the new website is getting closer. I suspect that the wishlist will come along with that new site. (At least I hope so).

I don't know what rules they are using. Some have speculated that it will be "mobile enabled" resources only. In any case, they are rolling out this feature, so this feature may not be turned on yet for some resources.

An Amazon type wish list has been asked for for about as long as a better mapping program. I think there is an item on Logos 'User Voice' which you can vote for, but for some reason this has never got onto the radar with Logos...
