Looking at logos files - noticed visual highlighting in use - potential for some slowness.
Looked at console messages for slowness interaction(s) with other program(s) - noticed Clean My Mac Helper Tool - found review => http://www.softpedia.com/reviews/mac/CleanMyMac-Review-108641.shtml - potential during cleanup to freeze other processes. Noted tool crash on Jan 13 at 10:50 am.
Console messages also shows many repeating messages for VMware Fusion - found vmware forum with similar messages => http://communities.vmware.com/message/1365274
Also noticed some vmware messages on Jan 13 at 9:42 am about auto release just leaking.
Noticed Time Machine backup not running - destination not available.
Microsoft Entourage also getting some errors.

Unless you have a ton of RAM and multiple processors, it is probably best to not run L4 Mac and VMWare Fusion (or Parallels) at the same time, as both are resource hogs.
