Upgrade discs

I have a mediocre internet connection, so consequently my computer spends a lot of time downloading software updates, and many times after downloading, the files are corrupted for some reason. The corrupted files are causing lots of problems.
Indexer kept crashing, and neither fix (rebuild index and deleting the library index folder) worked. So I am re-installing Logos 4 from the original install disc, and it is now into the third day because of all the updates it needs to download. Does anyone know if Logos 4 updates can be ordered on disc, like they were for Logos 3? This would solve my problem, but I couldn't find anything on the website about it.

There was a post about that here, a long time ago, saying that this is a possibility.
Contact Logos sales and ask about how to do this. Their 800 is on the Logos web site, and their email address is sales at logos dot com.
There was a recent problem with some reverse interlinears (the KJV1900, the NASB and the NLT) crashing the indexer. If you get a new DVD with the latest files that should fix the problem, if not you could follow the instructions here (scroll down to Melissa's reply), to get it going yourself.

Check this out:
Logos Bible Software 4 Media Only [DVD]
Be aware the program will update some after installation. Minor improvements are being made all the time so a pressing will undoubtedly need the small updates. Also, the DVD will not include all available Logos resources. So if you have license to a large library it presents a very real problem. There needs to be a proactive program to provide current DVDs with all resources included. That would have to be a multiple DVD set and require a "burn & ship" install disc.

FYI, that disc only includes resources in the base packages (and not Portfolio, I believe). Other resources would still need to be downloaded.

Thanks Todd.
I remembered that and was adding to my post when you posted. I got one of the first Logos 4 DVDs and it had some resources included but did not have all of Portfolio and maybe even lacked Platinum.
There has got to be some way to provide for foreign and rural users whose internet has caps or technical limitations. I've heard of some cases where the daily freight train interrupts service.

Thanks for the link. That is exactly what I was looking for, the latest version (v4.2 SR-1) on disc.
The description says "Media Only discs are for customers who do not have an internet connection, who have download constraints..."
That should take care of the bulk of the download, as well as the corrupted file problems. And as someone mentioned, there will be minor updates after the disc is released, but I can handle those.
