Christian History and Biography Magazine question
I am considering buying the Christian History magazine cd. I would want to read these on my iPad. I have some questions.
Is it true that the first 50 issues have all the pictures and graphics of the magazines, while the second 50 have just text?
Are they available on the iPad? How do the first 50 issues look on the iPad? Are all the graphics there? Can you easily read the charts, etc.?
Are you pleased with this product on the iPad?
I would greatly appreciate hearing from someone who owns this product, and can answer my questions.

Of the issues I looked at it seems true that later issues do not have the picture.
I looked at issues 8 and also found the timeline to be corrupted.

Karl, have you downloaded the book? If not, see if downloading fixes the timeline.

Yes. I think it an earlier thread indicated it was a copyright issue. Sorry, I cannot respond to the iPad question.[:'(]

Yes, thank you, that sorted the time line out. It now displays correctly.

Thanks everyone for your helpful responses. After considering your answers, I bought the Church History Magazine.
It is great on the iPad. Much like reading the actual magazine - at least the first 50 issues. Even the last 50 issues have such great information that it is well worth having.
I keep magazine copies of various issues - like the John Wesley and Martin Luther issue - lying on tables in our church office where people might sit and wait. People love to browse these fascinating magazines.
I will enjoy browsing them on the iPad. This is where the iPad really shines. I am delighted with it.
The Logos app for iPad is also wonderful. One thing that would improve the app would be the ability to zoom in and out by "pinching", as most iPad apps do. The pictures in the magazines are at times a bit too small. I do have the urge to quickly zoom in on them. Hopefully, that will come as Logos is constantly improving the app.
The Chruch History Magazine is really a wonderful publication, and the publisher should seek to obtain valid copyright to pictures and charts for all issues. I think they would have a very marketable product.
