Anyone any idea when LOGOS will make WBC's Judges available?

You know Ton I never noticed it missing.
On the Thomas Nelson website I see there is a link to the Judges commentary by itself, an interesting note is that while other websites give various release dates for the volume none of these sites have reviews earlier than 2010. I assume this is a rather new release and Logos version coming soon?

I actually don't think there was ever a question that this would be published, anymore than there will be about the remaining volumes to be completed in the WBC. It does show you how many folks have the set, however.

ha, Mark maybe I should have italicized "in less than 24 hours". It looks like the NAC Hebrews volume by Robert Allen faired equally well.

I know that it costs money to make this a "usable" logos resource capable of being searched and what not. But I always get frustrated when a pre-pub item is more money that the actual hardcover item on another website. I can find this resource for around 30 dollars and the pre-pub is 40 (that's a 25% difference!). Even though I ordered it, I no longer feel pre-pub is a "special" price just the "new" normal price.

I guess people look at electronic vs paper pricing differently. I actually don't care what the paperbacks cost. If I had the choice of getting this resource in Logos for $40 or getting it in hardback for $1.79, I would choose the $40 Logos version. It would be worth the price difference to me not to have another hardback sitting around in my office!!! [:D]

However, I do think that these books are worth it at these prices. The huge amount of work that goes into it for each author, let alone the editing and publishing costs, dictates a minimum value.
Being an engineer, I like to look at things in terms of dollars / hour. Whether it's the cost to a mine of parking an excavator up for a day, or the cost of a rental car, most things (with emphasis on things) in life can be reduced into dollars per hour. Similarly, I like to look at the cost of entertainment in the same way. A rental DVD may cost $7, which then translates into $4 /hr of enjoyment.
When I look at the purchase of the WBC volumes in that way, it's $6 per book which is absurd. $40 looks a lot more reasonable. Buying books is pretty much the cheapest hobby you can have!

I agree, it's comparatively expensive, but when I average out the price of the whole set, it's less than an extra dollar per volume! I use WBC virtually daily, so want that volume.
Alas, buying books, particularly Logos books, is my most expensive hobby! I shall need to take steps to pass my library on to someone who can get good use of it after my demise. (Shall be staying with my solicitor and family for some of my time during forthcoming visit to England, so would do well to take steps to ensure that then). I only have scholars, but I have loads of extra commentaries,

Can you let me know where/how I can get this for $350? Print? I've seen it on sale on Logos but I always seem to miss it. Thanks!

court, i don't right now know where that price is, I suggest googling it. I think I paid close to that, certainly under 400, a few years ago. I saw it online, asked Logos if they could match, they did, and that started a fruitful relationship with Logos sales.

Is it likely that at some point perhaps when the series is finished that Logos will update the collection so that new buyers can buy it all at once rather than have to buy the part finished collection and the rest individually or as an add on package?

Yes, it is possible. Logos sometimes issues an 'update' for a series, once several volumes have been released that were not in the original set.
It does create questions about Logos' future direction when this pre-publication "special" is more than 25% above the price for buying the physical book new now at Amazon.
