The BCP Daily Lectionary (1979) in Logos 3 does not pick up the references for Year 1 (Year A in Sunday Lectionary) in the daily office readings.  When the BCP Daily Lectionary
window is open and you click on Today.  The only entry that shows is for
November 27, 2010.  It seems it was not told where to look past that
date.  Has anyone worked on this?

Peace to you, Spencer!  And Great Joy in the Lord!

Strange....          When I go to my library and double-click to open it, it opens to Today!  Seems to work for me..   *smile*

Oh, so this is potentially my issue.  Wonderful.

    Spencer,

Could you open the BCP Daily Office Lectionary and click on the Resource Information button (i) on the right side of the resource toolbar, and scroll down to the Support Info? What is the Resource ID (LLS:) and the version date?

I apologize, I didn't realize this was the Logos 3/Libronix forum.

    Thanks,
    Melissa

Millford, did you perhaps miss that this is the Libronix/Logos 3 forum?

Sorry Spencer... I don't have anything to contribute to your problem, it seems like it might be a problem with the file. Perhaps drop Customer service a line to see if they can look into it?

Yes Indeed!    I did miss it!  I am very sorry about that and humbly apologise.  Guess I actually added to the confusion!  Will be more careful!    *smile*

Spencer, I am truly sorry I shared with you that it worked for me.           I did not notice that this was the L3 Forum, and I already shared I'm sorry.

Am writing this to say that "you can't get there from here"!  *smile*

In other words, it won't work for you in L3

Peace to you!  And Joy in the Lord!

Enjoyed that allusion to one of my favorite old Bert & I Maine jokes. [:)]

Actually, you can get there from here, but it involves upgrading to Logos 4. See here for the various options you have, one of which (though not ideal) is free: http://www.logos.com/4ways. If you should decide to go this route, we'll be here for you to help you through the learning curve.

That is an interesting Note.  I have been using BCP (1979) Lectionary in Logos for 2 years now.  It went belly up only Nov 27 of 2010.

    Hi Spencer!   Peace!

I was told that when you get a little note in a Chinese fortune cookie that says "you will live in "interesting" times" is actually a curse!    *smile*

Anyway, that aside, I find it interesting that you could do that....             Am going to check my Logos 3.0g this evening when I have time.

However, the BCP "Daily" lectionary ....     Did you ever get that to run....  ????

Spencer, now you have me really puzzling.  Just went over to my Logos3, looked at my resources.  Do not have the BCP lectionary, either Sunday or Daily.  So...   Went to the Logos FTP site, and couldn't find them there so I could download it (them) and try it.

Looked at my PBB's and the best I could find there was a PBB done by Dr. Charles Wooten that he shared with the old Logos Newsgroups.  It was the Book of Common Prayer, not a lectionary.

So I just don't understand how you could have it and me not!    :-(

I've always tried to make sure I had all the lectionaries.

Could you help me with my "conundrum"???

    Definition of CONUNDRUM

    1

: a riddle whose answer is or involves a pun

    2

a : a question or problem having only a conjectural answer b : an intricate and difficult problem

                 *smile*               Peace and Blessing!

I've always tried to make sure I had all the lectionaries.

My "holdings" in L3 - I don't recall which I built, which I lifted off the newsgroups and which were official:

Now all I have are official:

Any guess as to why [:(] or [:'(] or [:@] depending on what I'm trying to accomplish? And my timeline loss is even greater.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

    Wow!  I am impressed.

I think I remember now that I didn't bother downloading some of those from the old Logos Newsgroups because I had enough "stuff" and wouldn't use some of them anyway......

Obviously, also, some of these are your very own creation!

You are most certainly consistent!  And thorough!               *smile*

    Peace!
