Logos 4 search results do not color-highlight search words differently as in Logos 3

Logos 4 search results do not color-highlight search words differently as in Logos 3. In Logos 3, if I use the search phrase "God and love", the words God and love would appear in the search results with different colors like green and orange. Is that functionality expected to be brought back shortly?

This problem only appears to have been partially addressed. It seems to me that there are now (only) two colors showing up in the search results (yellow and orange), even if I used more than two different words in the search field (one showed as orange and the rest as yellow). So this is only partially working at best. Any ETA on this being fixed?

Hmm...that doesn't always seem to work. Seems to depend on the way the search terms are combined. For example, in this case it uses only two colors:

There's a post from Bradley explaining this from several months ago. I think it was when the feature was first released (4.0b). Unfortunately, I can't find the thread though!

wait OR hope OR look is three terms so each word will have a different colour. But the list wait, hope, look is treated as one term -> same results but one colour.

We BEFORE 2 words wait, hope, look BEFORE for BEFORE you contains four terms, so wait/hope/look have the same colour. Note that We BEFORE 2 words (wait OR hope OR look) BEFORE for BEFORE you won't work!

Douglas, it doesn't look like this was picked up by Melissa Snyder in her scan for bugs on the forum. When you are reporting bugs, you need to prefix the subject line with BUG: or it will likely be overlooked, as there are simply too many posts on these forums for her to read every single one. Please read my explanation above as to why there are not different colours for every word in the search. For example, We BEFORE 2 words (wait, hope, look) BEFORE for BEFORE you uses 4 colours => wait, hope, look is one term so each word will use the same colour.

If there is a case where this does not happen please tell us.

Douglas ~ Can you give me an example where it's not working as it should? In your first example in original post, a phrase such as "God and love" is considered one search term and the result is one color. I get the same result in Logos 3. As Dave points out, with some searches it treats the words as one term, such as wait, hope look. In Logos 3, that particular search results in one same color for each word as it does in Logos 4.
