Bug?: Mac Frozen After Syntax Search

My Mac just froze up after trying the run a syntax search. I am in the process of learning how to run these types of searches so I may not have formatted them correctly. A log file should be attached.

Another problem I am having with the syntax searches is that I am not able to select any of the checkboxes after I select a "clause search." Is there something I should be doing to enable a clause search with a checked box on say "adverbial" ? Or is this something wrong with Beta 6.

After messing with the syntax search a little more I have discovered that it is doing some other weird things.

If I open a new syntax search for the Lexham Syntatic Database and add a "sentence" search to the interface and then click the small plus sign on the right of the box labelled "sentence" and then click "clause" from the dialogue box nothing appears to be added to the search.

Then if I select "add search terms here" and select "clause" from the dialogue box I magically can get the other clause I added to appear. See picture below which shows the grey "clause" box I added previously (yet did not show previously); and then the blue "clause" box is the new clause I added which caused both to show. Also note that I am unable to choose any of the check boxes from the "clause type" list in the right column.

Is this normal or abnormal behavior?

The Mac development team is aware of these and is working to resolve the problems with Syntax Search documents.
