I do not know if this is answered somewhere else, but I have logos for windows. If I acquire a ipad, can I send logos from my windows pc to the iPad? Yes, I do not quite understand all the technical terms in this area :)

As long as you bought a Logos base package, you'll have access to most (though not all) of your books on the iPad through a separate Logos for iPad app. Download the (free) Logos for iPad app from here: http://www.logos.com/mobile/ipad

EDIT: You can tell whether a book is available on the iPad (or iPhone) if it's got an iPhone icon in the "Works on" section on the product description page on logos.com:

    Hi Jack

There is a Logos app for iPhone/iPad that allows you to access some (but not all) of the resources you have acquired with Logos for WIndows - assuming you purchased a base package.

You don't "send Logos" from your Windows PC to the iPad, rather there are different applications running on each which allow you to access resources on both. If you enable it then synchronisation occurs between them so that - for example - when you open a resource on the iPad it will open to the place you got to when reading on your PC.

More information is available at http://www.logos.com/mobile/iphone

    Does this help?

    Graham

Presumably, if Apple does eventually block the Logos App, we could still save Logos books as PDF and copy them to iPad?  I was thinking seriously of getting an ipad.  If I don't get one by March, I probably can't get one till next year at the earliest.  So would it be worth investing in an iPad if it might just be an E-reader for Logos?  I know there's another thread that deals with this, but I'm thinking of the practicalities of copying reading matter from Logos to iPad, which also connects with this thread.  [8-)]  now[|-)]
