Crashing, trying to run update

I just installed NIC and so indexing began. But, since I am still running B9, the program is crashing. I used the Control key and could login and type in Update now but it is still crashing. Please advise. Thanks for your help.

RC1 can be downloaded from http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/LDLS4Installer/Logos4Setup.exe let me know how it goes
