Purchased Resource not showing up in Library

Purchased Holman New Testament Commentary: Acts last night and it is not showing up in Library. Followed instructions by quitting Logos and restarting, but cannot find new resource in Library. Anything else I need to do.

Download. Did not notice it indexing at all. It's been over 18 hours now since i downloaded it and restarted Logos.

This is the first book i have purchased from the Logos site.

Might I suggest a 'Rebuild Index' command just before bed. (leave the computer on).

Normally when I purchase a resource I have to

wait long enough (you've done that.
Close Logos and reopen so it syncs licenses and realizes that it needs to download the book. There's normally a delay of some minutes before this happens.
Wait for the download to finish
close and restart logos to initiate indexing and so forth. But even during indexing you should see it in your library.

Try typing

Rebuild Index

in the Command text box.

This may take awhile, so as suggested earlier, you may want to do it at the end of the day. Also, consider disabling your sleep settings until the indexing is completed.

Hi Mark — others have pointed out standard things to do, I can confirm that pretty well immediately after purchase of new resource and restarting Logos I see new book being downloaded.

Some things to check:

Has item sale actually been registered to your account? If you go to https://www.logos.com/user/orders you should see an order listed there with the title. If you click on the book title it should take you to the Logos page and you should see that the 'Add To Cart' button is grayed out. If the preceding is not the case contact Logos customer service.
If first point shows that purchase is registered is your Logos 4 communicating with Logos server? One way to check is to type 'Update now' in command window in toolbar and press [Enter]. At bottom right of Logos 4 screen you should see message 'Checking for updates...'. If you don't see message like this there could be some issue with your computer communicating with Logos systems.
In the Library list search entry field you don't have anything already typed in? You're not filtering there?

When this happens to me, I do the following until it works (simple and quick things at first, more thorough and slow things if they don't work):

Make sure I've waited long enough (as others have said, you've done this).
Make sure I've got an internet connection.
Restart Logos and wait a few minutes.
If nothing, turn logging on, and restart Logos.
Type update now in the command bar, and wait for the confirmation that updates have/have not been found. If the confirmation comes immediately, there's a faulty internet connection. It usually takes a few minutes to check.
While you're waiting, if the resource is available on iPhone, see if you can access it at biblica.com - if you can't it may it hasn't been unlocked properly.
Type update resources in the command bar. This can take 15-30 minutes.
Give up and ring customer services or post a log on the forum.

One more thing to look for: has the physical file made it to your library. I checked the same volume in my library you'll need to see the following file in the following location in order for your library to see it:

HNTC65AC.logos4

/Users/msale/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/<some random set of characters> /ResourceManager/Resources

If it has been downloaded, but not pushed into your library, you'll find the file in the ResourceManager/Downloaded directory. (If you find it there, run Update Resources from the command bar)
