Exploring Silver

I just upgraded from Scholar's to Silver because of a nice book credit I earned wtih Logos by helping demonstrate L4 to a area pastor's group. For those of you who already have the Sliver library, what are your favorite resources? I'm like a kid at Christmas, wondering which toy to play with first.

As you go up to the higher level packages the original language resources get better. For example CHALOT. You want to make sure these resources get prioritized and in some cases are made part of a collection to get the full use of them.

I went from Scholar's to Silver mainly because of the commentary sets - which are more utilitarian than toys! I just made sure they were prioritised accordingly.

Thanks, Jerry. Duly noted and saved. Believe it or not, I explored this resource this afternoon and actually used it immediately in an exegesis on Mary Magdalene. Cool!

Thanks for the many good tips and suggestions. Perhaps some others will chime in, too.

I spend a couple or three hours pouring over the additions to my resources and plugged them into some old and new collections. I also learned I need to brush up on the syntax of building these tools, too.

Truth be known, I also discovered some neat titles I already had but had not explored. Logos is 'way cool.

For me the addition of the ECF and the New American commentaries are the most compelling reasons to jump to Silver. Don't know about the former, but feel you'll be very glad for the later.

I've been enjoying them both. I've actually had the New American set for several years (purchased seperately, probably about when it came out). That was one of the issues that made it hard to decide whether to upgrade to Silver or buy a nice single series instead. I had already purchased NAC, Pulpit, and Keil and Delitzsch.
