Camp Logos London
As a Londoner I look forwarding to Camp Logos coming in February.
Just curious who is coming?
I may offer a prize for who is travelling furthest....

I am tempted. What are the main benefits of it? How will it help me study for sermons?
I will not be traveling from far though if I come - Stratford, East London. In fact it will be quicker than if I go to work!

Hi David: The benefits of Camp Logos are many. I think the main one being that it allows you to quickly get a broad grasp on all that Logos can do which lays a foundation for you to go as deep as you want. I went to Camp Logos a few years back and came home and found out that I understood the program better than my pastor who had been using it for several years longer than me. I think that you will find it well worth the cost of going.

Does anyone know what the schedule is for the Camp Logos 2 session in London, eg. the third day? Thinking of coming and it would help in making travel arrangements, can't find the info anywhere.

Lavdi Zotit!
I imagine we have power sockets to plug weary laptops into? What about food? Do they feed our bodies as well as our spirits, or do we make our own arrangements? I shall hope for the best and prepare for the worst!

Nicky,
This should brief you on what to expect at Camp Logos. http://www.mpseminars.com/camp-logos/what-to-expect-at-camp-logos/
I hope that link works.

I can honestly say that following Camp Logos in London I have been amazed at what Logos can do, the functionality is amazing. The Seminar was excellent in every way.
I have no doubt that it is my own fault for woefully failing to get to grips with the package on my own but it is sad that the wonderful features of Logos are so hidden from the casual user.

Since Camp Logos I have about 8-10 resources open in my Bible Study layouts instead of at least 20. Less likely to crash! I can now easily do word study (never tried it before) or wordsearch much more efficiently and easily, my favourite commentaries are tagged in 2 categories, my most used layouts are in Favourities, whence I can open them far quicker than I could from Layouts, and I know how to go quickly and easily from one favourite resource to the next by using right and left arrows. Those are the immediate benefits I'm already enjoying from Camp Logos. It's better than an upgrade for me! It's expensive, but an investment paying immediate dividends and will enrich my Bible study for the rest of my life [:D]. Thank you, Moe and team! It was also good to meet some people, albeit too few as I was glued to my laptop most of the time. And to meet the legendary Mark Barnes - who recognised me from the back view - how you did that I don't know,Mark - do I really look like the back end of my dog?? [*-)]

Answering for Mark - it was the floppy ears that gave you away[;)] Any self-respecting cat person would be mistaken for Dr. Spock.[8-|]
