How about Harvard Classics AND Godet Commentaries or Charles Spurgeon Collection (86 vols.) on sale right now? Spurgeon is about $80 more than the other two. You can throw in $80 worth of other resources if you'd like. I might have to skip them all in order to get the Evangelical Exegetical Commentary, but I'd still appreciate your input.
