NIV (1984)
I just recently downloaded the NIV 2011 and on my laptop it changed the old NIV to "New International Version (1984)", but on my desktop both the 2011 and the 1984 version are listed as "New International Version". They actually are different editions (different cover graphics and all), but why did it not changed the original to show (1984) in the title as my other computer did? Can I fixed this somehow?

There are two possible causes:
- Your desktop somehow missed the metadata updated that should have made the change.
- You'd previously renamed the resource, and Logos didn't want to mess up your custom name.
Either way, you can rename the book yourself. Go to your library, make sure the info panel is displaying, select the NIV, and then click the little pencil next to the title in the info panel.

My Logos 4 has NIV and NIV84 BUT my Logos 3 has both as New International Version [Are you using 3 or 4?]

I was only referring to Logos 4, but after you ask I updated and check my Logos3 (installed on the same computers, but rarely used), and it doesn’t have the 2011 version only the 1984. Perhaps I am supposed to download it manually. ??

Yes, you either have to download it manually or navigate to here: http://www.logos.com/product/8775/logos-bible-software-3-media-only-kf-dvd-rom scroll to the bottom and run the script for your particular base package.

Ok, I was able to manually download the NIV2011 but it also show up in Logos with the same title as the NIV1984 just like it did in on my one of my computer with Logos 4. How do I edit the title in Logos3?

It's an L4 feature only, sorry.
