I am sure that his has been "worn out" on other threads, but can anyone explain to me the grammatical significance of the Periphrastic Construction and how to identify it in the GNT. Thanks.

Oh Yeah, and I know that the technical meaning is "a round about way of saying something". What I am interesting in knowing is how the Periphrastic Construction changes the grammar. Ex. Acts 13:48-tasso from aorist to pluperfect? Thanks and I hope this makes enough sense.

Idioms is particularly thorough, Kairos is clearer. I don't have Wallace in Logos to create the link, but pg 648 would help you there, I think.
