Another question about washed out fonts

I reloaded Logos4 for Windows yesterday and notice that the fonts in some sections are very washed out.  The most noticeable area is in the library.  On the regular tabs, say in the main screen of Logos, I can hover over a tab and it will tell me about the book.  That font is clear and readable.  When I go to the library, and select prioritize, and then hover over a book listing, it tells me about the book but it is all washed out and hard to read.

I should mention that I have a year old Macbook Pro running Win7 in Parallels 5.  I still have Logos installed on the Mac side and everything there looks great.  I also have an external Dell monitor attached to the Mac.

In testing a few things, I found that everything in Logos on the Mac looks great, whether displayed on the Mac's screen or the external monitor.

However, the issue I see is on the Windows side of Logos, as explained above.

I've tried adjusting the settings on the Win7 side as well as the monitor, and the font smoothing and Cleartype.  Is there something I'm missing?

Chris, could you provide a screenshot of what you're talking about? To catch a popup window you need a utility that has a hotkey combination set.

If you don't know how to do this see http://wiki.logos.com/screenshot

When you reload Logos, that doesn't mean that you throw them in the washer with your laundry.  No wonder your fonts are washed out !  [H]

Edit:  I suggest that the next time you do them separately in the delicate cycle.

Well when trying to do a screen capture using Snagit, when I do the capture, the resulting clipping of the problem is not seen.  The text in the capture is plain as day, not washed out like it appears on the screen just prior to the capture.  I'll try one of the other programs listed in your link.

Well it seems the issue is related to using Parallels in "Coherence" mode as opposed to "Window" mode.  When in coherehnce, the fonts look washed out, especially in the library.  When in "Window" mode, these same fonts look fine.

I've tried several variations of settings to be able to run Logos4 while in coherence mode, but the font always looks washed out.

Anyone running Logos4 in Parallels 5 having this issue?
