I would love to see Logos available for the Palm Pre - Palm OS is a great platform, and as a programmer I can say that it is easier to program for than almost all of the other platforms.

I also would love Logos to produce a Kindle app or at least some way of exporting my books to read on the Kindle... The ability to import/export notes would be a bonus.

Hey Bob,
I pray all is well with you and family. This is Chaplain George W. Jones, Carswell NAS JRB, Ft. Worth, Texas. I am so thankful that you'll at Logos are looking at other cellular platforms to build Logos on. Mine is the Blackberry 8330. Although it is wonderful having all of the titles that Logos provides on my laptop, it would be even better if I had access on my Blackberry. As a military chaplain, sometimes I am called to do very training in a moments notice. Having the ability to access my Logos on my cell phone will be a blessing because I have access to my titles right there on the cell phone. It this is something that you can do for me and other blackberry users, I would really appreciate you!!!! I already sing your praises to all who ask!!!!!
May God Continue to Richly Bless You,
George W. Jones, Ch, Capt, USAFR

When you make a decision as to whether or not you'll support other platforms, please let us know as much in advance as possible. Which platform Logos supports will play a huge role in which phone I upgrade to.
I second that! I'm trying to patiently wait because if I could access Logos from an Android phone, I'd actually consider purchasing on of the many that are being introduced over the next two months.
Blessings,
Christina

My next phone will be the "superphone" HTC EVO 4G
It runs Android and coming out this summer. I would love to have a Logos app to take advantage of the big screen (bigger than an iPhone).
Hey, that's my phone! I never thought I'd even consider an Android phone, but I want a device that can act as a "hotspot" and this device can do that amazingly well. I've been with T-Mobile for almost 10 years, but I'm actually considering leaving just for this device. Being able to access Logos on it will just be the icing on top of the cake I wish I had right about now!
Blessings,
Christina

I use a Blackberry, but I DON'T want a Logos App for the Blackberry. Please don't waste your time and money. The screen is way too small for reading. I just want to be able to have my entire library on my iPod touch/iPad. NO internet required!
We NEED some kind of portable reader for our Logos based resources. My desktop/laptop is great for study and sermon prep. but NOT for casual reading.
Yes, Kindle has e-ink, but that's truly it. iPad so far is where it is at. Try to run a passage guide on a Nook!

I am holding out to see what Windows Mobile 7 will be like. Blackberry is not the right device. I like what I hear about Android. Because everything else I do is practically Windows, I would definitely wait to see what mobile 7 will be like. If that fails, it will be iPhone or Android (like the shot, Alain!)
I like Apples. Especially Honeycrisp.

Bob,
I took the survey yesterday. Are there any plans to make Logos available for PalmPre Users (WebOS)?

What about those of us who are using Windows Mobile. Please consider us as well.

Please bring us an Android App. Android is open source and should be very easy for you to develop for (especially if you developed an App for iPhone). At the rate the Android Platform is growing, it only seems wise to give us some Logos love. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

I recently purchased a Droid and love it. I look forward to a Logos app for the Droid.

Motorola Droid user here. Bob--I purchased this phone with the hopes that Logos would go Android next since I was unable to go iphone for network reasons. I can't tell you how helpful some of the resources would have been on on the go ministry. I hope you can help those Blackberry users out there, but it looks like the mobile world is moving Android which is found on every major network now unlike the iphone. Thanks!!!

Nearly everyone I know who doesn't have an iPhone uses a Blackberry device (not counting those of course without smartphones). I would really appreciate an app for Blackberry.
I completely agree. A Logos application for the Blackberry is long overdue. My Blackberry Bold 9700 is the second Blackberry I've owned, and I don't/can't see myself buying an iPhone anytime soon. However, I'd seriously consider buying an iPad just to be able to use a Logos mobile app on it. Keep up the good work.

For some as yet inexplicable reason, library.logos.com does not work on my Blackberry Bold 9700.

Definitely Blackberry!

Thanks Bob. I took the survey. I am moving to the Android platform and away from my iPhone. I would LOVE to see your application available for Android.
Blessings
Jim!

> I hope we haven't forgotten the Windows Mobile users!
I've offered to Bob to write one, but he didn't seem interested.

I am a Windows Mobile user, and would love a Logos app for it. However, i understand that Logos will not create an app for it at least until after version 7 is released. What i want is the ability to read my Logos e-books on my device. Logos created the library.logos.com, but it really does not work well. You can start reading an e-book, but once the browser is closed, you cannot easily get back to where you were. Basically, that is all i am after on my mobile device. I use my desktop to study, and want my mobile to read. Make the library.logos.com work better at creating bookmarks or remembering where i am and i would be happy.
God bless!
JoeKlibrary.logos.com works ok with the Opera 9 browser. PIE in WM 6.5 will only render the site correctly if in landscape mode. They will pick right back up where you left off. But if you read on you're Windows box too and are like me and leave Logos4 open weeks at a time, the two will interfere with each other rather than sync cleanly.

+1 for Android!

Bob,
Any idea when we might hear a direction this is leaning? It's May and I'm up for a renewal on my phone contract. Shall I look for a droid or another blackberry?
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Hi Joe,
I just started using library.logos.com on my droid. I can get to about half the books in my account. However, for reading purposes, I set up a reading plan. Each reading plan shows up on my account home page. You can be reading several books at once using this technique. To switch between books use the web page home button.
I stumbled on to this technique by accident. I was way behind on a book which I expected to be able to finish last month. The plan called for reading about 4 pages a day. When I opened the plan on my Nexus One I found that it was synchronized with my desktop reading. The plan took me directly to my current spot in the book. Since the selections were small I never had to scroll through a lot of pages to get to my current bookmark. Of course, it's easiest to just stop at the end of a plan selection.
I would suggest setting your plan to start in the PAST and choose the reading sizes small so that there are lots of them. This gives you more choices on when to stop and results in less searching if you choose to quit in the middle of a selection. You won't have to pay attention to the dates, your mobile will just give you a list of pages to read for you next selection. Ignore the fact that you're "behind". It seems to sync back with your desktop in case you want to pick up from there.
Regards,
David
