Index question on "Arguing Scripture"
How is "Arguing scripture" indexed or tagged.... will it work with as a commentary?

Click the i with a circle around it. On that information page it will say what the indexes are. It needs to have a Bible index to work as a commentary. See Rosie's picture on that other post on a similar question.

If you mean Arguing with Scripture: The Rhetoric of Quotations in the Letters of Paul, then it's a monograph, not commentary. It's indexed by page numbers only. It deals with ten passages or verses as in-depth examples, but the bulk is more essay-style.
