Using most recent beta, Snow Leopard with all updates, etc.
I launch L4, but it never appears. Have to manually kill it, and it generates a crash message. But then it loads up just fine.

Ben ~ I'm sorry for the delay in responding to your post. Does Logos 4 open to the Home Page or a saved layout? If you open to a blank layout, does it open the first time?
It opens to the previous layout.
This has become the default in the last 24 hours. I open it, have to right-click icon and kill it, then it opens again fine.

To narrow down whether it is something in the previous layout, if you open Logos 4 to a blank layout does it open the first time without having to kill it? (Press Cmd key immediately after starting L4 to bring up Sign In screen, check the 'Use blank layout' box, and click Sign In.)
