Handout Guide

I saw that the new update dealt with columns when in paged view. I had hoped (though I know they are unrelated) that maybe that would affect the handout guide it not forcing me to have 2 columns all the time when I add my own content. There is so much potential for the hand out guide and yet it still remains useless because of this annoying feature. Is there any way of knowing when this might be addressed? I have had L4 almost since its release date and have looked forward to using this feature and I can't because of this column issue. Also, Is it true that the margins are now adjustable so that it will work with ink jet type printers that cannot print all the way to the borders?
Thanks

Geoffrey,
I believe no one has campaigned louder and longer about the needed upgrades to handouts than I.
The good news is that, while there is no way of knowing when... there is some certitude now that changes will happen. :-)Geoffrey W. Smith said:Is there any way of knowing when this might be addressed?
Take a look here: New architecture for Handouts (Bob Pritchett, CEO)
And then for fun you can click handouts in my sig to see how I really feel. [;)]

Thanks for the redirect. I do not get on here very much and there is a massive amount of material to look at which is why I did not see that other post. That post is dated in early July I hope they are close to releasing the new version or architecture. I don't care what they call it I just hope it works

Oh, don't worry about the redirect Geoffrey. Feel free to post away. :-) I kind of know my way around here and there's too many posts for me to remember too. (smile).
Again, I wish I could speak of timing - but I'm running on guesswork.

I was just trying to use these handouts and thought something nice to be included in the rebuild would be a spell check when you add your own content or thoughts to the handout. I would guess, with all the dictionaries built into L4 already, that this would not be that hard but I am not all that great with computers either. Anyway just an idea.
