After Apple annouced iPad 2, prices for refurbished 1st generation iPad dropped:

32 GB WiFi + 3G  now $ 559  (23 % less than $ 729 original price)

    I must have got mine just too soon.  My new ipad seems much heavier than one I handled briefly at a conference.  Anyway, I think I shall like it once I get the hang of it - preliminary instructions were not exactly plentiful.  I shall be asking for advice in this forum for problems to which  I can't find the solution..  [:P]
