Thanks for the update. Logos App is becoming more usefully to me with each release.

I am on a slow internet connection and recently added cornerstone commentaries, only half of them are showing up in the iphone, I was told that the only way to correct this was to sign off losing all my downloads if I use iPhone Explorer to copy out the bundles folder in the Logos directory and then put it back after signing back in will this maintain the downloaded items and keep me from having to redownloded everything again???

To swap books in panes, tap the first pane. The active pane will appear normal and the inactive pane will be in shadow. In the recent resources view at the bottom of the screen, tap the book cover for the book that is in the inactive pane.

    Dan,

Copying files to/from the Logos app is definitely not supported.

When you say you added cornerstone commentaries, do you mean you bought them or downloaded them?

Sounds great!  I just got my ipad 3 days ago, so am still exploring.  How do I download update to app?  How do I find out which version I have?  (Must be old version, as search not available offline)

I've just found the answer to my question - went to app shop and logos app offered an update, which I'm now downloading - may be a useful tip for any other newbies...[;)]  My downloaded books also seem to remain downloaded, which is an encouragement...[:D]

How do we share a verse from a Bible?  That sounds like a cop and paste feature to me.

Since the new update, I have notice two problems associated with my
reading plans.  First of all, my iPhone does not seem to be
synchronizing the NKJV reading plan I have set up.  The reading I did
yesterday on my computer (marked "read") are not showing up on the
iPhone a day later.  I also noticed since this new update, the markers
that let you know where to begin in the text and where to finish are now
missing.  I have shut down Logos 4 and restarted and synchronized
multiple times without fixing it.  I am using Logos 4 Mac (4.2a SR-1 (4.21.5.0790)) and the latest updated iPhone app. Any thoughts on resolving this?

I bought them only the first set and not the upgrade books show up in either biblia or iphone, all show up on LOGOS  desktop, I do not want to spend several days redownloading all my books.  I was told the only way they would show up on my iphone was to sign out and then have to download them all again.. This is not an acceptable option. I will live without the 7 volumes if that is the only way.

Nope the 7 upgrade volumes don;t show up in biblia.com either I was told when i phoned today and inquired biblia.com is in beta and availability for use on the iPhone does not mean it is available to use in biblia.com. Next upgrade they really need to make a log off option, like Log off completely (Do this if you are using a device not owned by you or wish to have all data removed for it), Log off (this will keep your files and settings on your device).

Without wanting to contradict support, I'd be extremely surprised if logging out and in on the iPhone book gave you access to books that aren't available on biblia. Although there are small differences between resources available on Biblia and the iPhone, my understanding is that they are very small differences, and therefore if the books don't appear on biblia, it's extremely unlikely they'll appear on the iPhone.

Wow, JUST got it? New? If so, you should consider returning it and getting the new one as Apple has just announced iPad 2 for the same price available March 11. If you don't care about new features ask them about getting $100 off.

According to customer support and the Logos Website the other 7 Cornerstone commentaries should be available on my iphone. But that is all I know.

Dave Dunkin is the only one who would be able to confirm for certain, the the indicator on the Logos website only says that they ought to be on the iPhone, it doesn't mean that they're actually available. For example, when a resource is released it often takes a couple of weeks to show up on the iPhone, even though the icon is on the website all that time.

If Dave's still reading this thread, perhaps he could confirm what's happened to those resources.

Does panes mean on the ipad I can have two books open and displayed onscreen at the same time?

    Hi Aaron,

Yes there are now two panes available for two books. The panes can be linked together for example to allow two different texts to be in sync or a bible and commentary.

    Thanks for the confirmation John.

I saw the setting for "Link Panels" and assumed that this was what it referred to. For the life of me I couldn't find any information on how to actually bring up a second panel. Finally I found the little screen splitting widget on the corner of the display (my case was partially obscuring it).

What a wonderful feature! Well done Logos iOS team.  I only hope they can implement some other features as effectively as this one now is.
