I cannot get the stars to work and have searched till I can't take it anymore trying to find out why. I assume it is a basic click on the star and it comes on. I have also tried various combinations of shift/ctrl etc. Any suggestions?  and...Is there some way to search the forums besides Google? The tags are limited and there are a zillion articles so reading even just the titles can be a laborious event. Thanks, earl

    Hi Earl,

I appreciate that you've tried to search, I must agree there is a LOT of information here to wade through.  Sometimes the best you can do is just ask a question.....

The star ratings are clickable in the Library view.  (Press CTRL+L to float the library window)  Once in the library click the view button to switch from List to tile view.  There you can see the stars below each book and can click them there.

To the right of the view button is the Information button image  This opens up an information pane in which you can also click the stars to rate them.

    I hope this helps.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

    Hi Earl

If you open the "resource information" page for a resource (click on the "i" in the top right of the resource) you will get access to the ratings.

Clicking on these allows you to change the ratings.

You can do the same thing if you click on the same icon when the library window is open - this opens the resource information page as well.

For more information please see http://wiki.logos.com/Ratings

And I don't know a better way of searching the forums than Google.

However, if you are looking for how to do something particular you might want to try searching the wiki at http://wiki.logos.com/ which has a lot of useful information.

    Hope this helps, Graham

I cannot get the stars to work

1 You must have the library loaded -preferably in a tab orfloating window

    2. You must click on "view" so that the "grid" appears ie. separate columns for author title stars etc

Have you done that so far?

When in that view you also have to click on the "i" ie info button so that a side panel appears.

It is within that "side" panel that I then click on a star for a book (or group of books)

If you have done al of the above with no" joy" then we need more specific step-by-step as to what you have done.

    all the best

EDIT: Wow! 3 instant posts and even pictures. Well done!

    Regards, SteveF

The star rating can also be changed on individual resources within a Collection.

This can come in handy, especially if you create collections for individual books of the Bible.
