Right Click Menu Question
Hi all, I went to http://wiki.logos.com/Right_Click_Menu but couldn't find an answer: how do I modify what shows in the right-click menu when selecting a Bible reference? I see where Logos has put in some of my personal guides and collections. How do I control that? Apparently it has nothing to do with the Prioritize section, as I don't have those collections there.
What I am really trying to do is find the quickest way to open a certain commentary to that verse. But it would be interesting to know the answer to the above as well. Thanks!

In the left column where it says Commentaries, N.T., Commentaries O.T. and Favorite Authors are they collections or are they custom guides?

What you are seeing are custom guides that have been created. If there is a certain commentary that you use regularly, my suggestion would be to create and save a layout that is linked to the bible you use. The commentary will follow the scripture reference your bible is pointed to. One nice feature is that if you use a commentary series (e.g. WBC, NAC, Pillar, etc.) and you set the layout up with a particular book (e.g. Romans) then you change passages to another book (e.g. Matthew ) the commentary will automatically change to that volume (assuming that series has a volume for the book you chnaged to.

David,
I do not get any collections in my Reference menu, but I do get all my custom Passage Guides. If you select "Selection" and have custom Bible Word Study Guides, they will show up. If you have collections showing up I don't know how they got there.
If I understand what you want to do, try prioritizing your commentaries above all but your top Bible. Here is what I've done:
And here is what I get in the right click menu for Reference:

OK, my bad, they are all custome guides. I thought they were a mixture of guides and collections. So I am assuming that all of my current and future custom guides would automatically popluate in the right click menu when appropriate?

Mark, I think you are doing what I want to do. I havent thought of "prioritizing your commentaries above all but your top Bible." I'll try that.

Yes and if you have created collections of different categories of commentaries you can make a custom guide with all of them and open the ones you are interested in.

The right click menu will only show your top five prioritized resources, so if a Bible is one, you are limited to four commentary series showing up. Some will want more than one Bible showing there, so will leave those in the top positions. I wish when one was using a top prioritized Bible that it would not list that one in the right click list of five since it is a useless listing. You could 'gain' a slot that way. I guess that's another topic.
