Indexing problems

Hi

I'm having indexing problems. Since the last update to L4 (today March 8, 2011), the indexer will begin but does not show any progress, although the CPU is at 100% constantly.

I've tried looking at other related posts, have tried rebuilding the index, but the same problem happens. Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

    Indexer.log file shows Bible and Library indexing needed (only 18 Library resources out of 1,589 currently indexed) along with 'Pause Indexing for 4 hours' pressed - indexer can continue after pause until indexing threads reach a pausable place to stop.  Did notice current stable Logos 4.2a SR-2 software installed.

    Until indexing done, search not usable in Logos 4 (also affects visual filters).

    Since Logos 4 indexing can take hours, suggest connecting power adapter and let indexing happen - can adjust power settings so computer does not sleep, but monitor(s) do.  If computer shuts down before indexing done, Logos 4 indexing has to start over.

    Seems I just needed to be more patient. I didn't know this update would rebuild the entire index. It sure is slow though (even for my netbook).

     

    Now at 50% after about 16 hours...
