I'm trying to find all occurances of עֵ֥ץ חַ֝יִּ֗ים but my search results are not showing those with a waw at the beginning of the first noun (i.e. Prov 13:12). How can I get the search results to include these occurances as well?
Try lemma:עֵץ BEFORE 1 WORD lemma:חַיִּים:0.n for Westminster 4.2 or lemma:עֵץ BEFORE 1 WORD lemma:חַיִּים for WIVU
Thanks Kevin. That seemed to work. It's rather complicated though. It would be good if Logos developed a more user friendly way of doing such basic searches, don't you think?
Searching Hebrew is arguably one of the weakest area of Logos 4. The way it indexes characters makes looking for a phrase difficult because of the way the Hebrew can drop characters and add suffixes etc. I never try do a phrase search like I would in English but rather give Logos a sequence of lemmas, it's the most reliable way I can get what I'm looking for.
