Force Sync

Is there a way to force the iPad or iPhone app to sync with the server. If not, how often does it sync.

My problem is that I created a new reading plan on Logos 4 Mac that uses the ESV so I know the resource is available on the iPad app. However, after syncing the desktop version of Logos 4 Mac I can't get the reading plan to show up on the iPad. I know the sync from the desktop version works because I was able to sync the reading plan down to another computer with Logos 4 Mac installed. I seem to remember this happening several months ago when I first started using the Logos iPad app and eventually the reading plan showed up and so that is why I was hoping to find a way to force the sync.

I have tried quitting the app in the task manager and relaunching it and it appears to be checking for resources, but the reading plan still doesn't show up. I also tried deleting the old reading plan that was in the app to see if that would force it to look for new ones, but in the end I only got the Read the Bible in a year reading plan.

Is there a way to force it to sync? Thank you.

Able to replicate by creating a new plan using Logos 4 Mac then sync now (uploaded to Logos servers). On iPad, plan did not show up within a few minutes. For grins, marked some chapters read on Mac, but did not show up quickly on iPad.

Actually the sync delay can be hours. But the only way to "force" the app to sync is shut it down fully (not just hit home screen but clear it out of the task switcher too) and then reopen. It will automatically sync what is available to it at that point.

Hmmm, might try that in reference to the duplication f reading plans then. Thanks for the info.
