The Harvard classics collection is not mobile!
I was so dissappointed when I realized that this collection was not available for my iPad. I don't want to sit in front of a computer screen and read this stuff! These works are a different beast than bible study reference works.
Does anyone know why it's not availabe for mobile devices? Is the problem being addressed or did I waste my money?

I'm not sure why it isn't available for iPhone/iPad or if it's being adressed. It shouldn't be a problem to make it available from a technical viewpoint, but maybe the copyright owner doesn't allow it. However, you should contact Customer Service, ask whether this is being adressed. Remember you can ask for a refund for a limited time.

This question was recently asked regarding the new Muller collection. Someone indicated it takes some time for a new resource to be added to the IPad. Perhaps this is true with this resource as well.

Well, this is true with resources where the resource page on logos.com indicates it will work with iPhone/iPad. In this case however, the resource page shows it will only work on Windows and Mac, not iPhone/iPad - so I guess this has to do with copyright issues.

The Harvard "Classics" are long out of copyright which is why Logos produced them to begin with. They just have to format them or something for the iOS program. Given that they are mostly novels and people will want to read those on their iphone/ipad I'm sure they will get around to it.

Harvard Classics were published in 1909. It is public domain and Logos does not need third party permission on this resource. It does take a few days after ship date to get the books available for online access.Logos 7 Collectors Edition

Sorry to redundantly post the same info you already shared. I started the post before you posted but was interrupted with 2 neighborhood crises. I posted without rechecking.
I have always wondered how some works can be useful on an iPhone. (technical commentaries, for example) while other works are obviously well suited for an eReader (John Piper books & Harvard Classics.)

Thanks for the note - I wasn't sure about that since I'm only familiar with German Copyright, where even Classics like this one (though not all of them) can be protected by law.

Am NOT a legal expert but what gets copyrighted for re-prints of older works is often just the formating - if you take it over to the copy machine you are wrong - if you do what they did and re-type it you are ok. [however maybe you should call a lawyer before doing anything - in the US the copyright is sometimes automatic with out the copyright statement]

I'm not planning to re-publish anything right now, so I don't really care! [;)]

you mean, two of your 59 children were having an altercation/needed a glass of milk/were fighting over Logos use/hanging up Logos T-shirts on the wash line with a Tornado approaching? [:P]
I like Apples. Especially Honeycrisp.
