Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Logos tweeted this: [quote] Logos: Surprised by some last-minute titles that rose to the top, so we're extending the @Logos 25K Like-a-thon one more day! http://lgs.to/fXqTMO

I'm pretty sure that was from yesterday, wasn't it?

Well, yeah, but originally the titles were going to be posted on Tuesday, today, which means an one day extension places the titles being revealed on Wednesday, tomorrow even though this particular tweet went out yesterday.

But what they said yesterday was that "we're extending the Like-phase through today". That would mean until midnight yesterday, wouldn't it? If so, they could still post the prices today, and as far as I can see they haven't said they won't. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
EDIT: Seems Logos agrees with me, since this was posted while I was writing:
So its tuesday....True, true! Stay tuned for some amazing deals (some lower than you've ever seen); they'll be posted "while it is called today."
Mac Pro (late 2013) OS 12.6.2
Is there a tally somewhere that shows the current Like count for the titles likely to go on sale? A thousand Likes for ANY title seems improbable to me from a base of only 25K eligible voters. Where are the exit poller's?
<drum roll................>
Also, looking at the Like-a-thon announcement wording again, I can see how it could be interpreted as 1,000 likes together on a single title...note: that is not what we intended. It's much better than that.
Sales just went live!
Sales just went live!
Whoa!! Those are some very nice prices on some great resources!! Too bad I already have them all (and paid more for them in most cases). Everyone else who is part of this feeding frenzy: Enjoy! [:)]
Five items? The link above Word takes me to Tozer. Am I missing something?
I'm not sure I understand your question. When I go to that Facebook page, I see 4 items on sale for 50% off the already low sale price, then another 5 items on sale for incredibly low prices, though not quite 50% off the sale price. And then a bonus item. Is that not what you're seeing? And where did you get the idea that it would be something else? Was there a promise of five items for 50% off that I'm forgetting about? (Can't see what the original sale page looked like anymore as it's been replaced.)
Yes, the item immediately above the Word commentaries (below the Tozer collection) which is just a banner (see graphic below) does appear to be linked to the Tozer page for some reason (probably a glitch in the HTML), but that's nothing material. Just wondering what you were expecting that you're not seeing.
I am not seeing the other five items, just Word.
That's weird. Are you seeing the 4 items above Word and just missing the 4 items below Word? Or are you only seeing Word period?
Try it in a different browser, just in case that has anything to do with it. I'm using Firefox and it displays the whole page with all items on it.
Logos is being good to me. March Madness and now the Like-a-thon. Not a single title I don't have already that would tempt me. AHH. Financial peace!
Ditto. I actually had a somewhat poignant email interchange with my sales rep recently where I told him that apart from the never-ending stream of prepubs I'm still waiting for, there probably isn't much left in the Logos catalogue that I don't have already that I'd ever want. He'd been wondering why he hadn't heard from me in a while when I made a recent purchase. He had thought perhaps my last big purchase was the last he'd ever hear from me. Sniff. [:(] We've almost become "friends" (in the modern FB sense) through all the money I've been spending. I guess I could start ordering my prepubs through him instead of impulse ordering them with the Quick Buy button. Oh that is so tempting!!

I have always tried to use my sales rep whenever possible. When I made my first purchase through Logos (LIbronix Silver), my sales rep spent quite a bit of time on the phone and was very patient with me. Because of this I try to place all my orders through him, including prepubs. I think the only times I don't use him (Jim-Ray) is when I bid on Community Pricing.
IE ... many developers have moved away from it to Firefox, Safari, and/or Chrome, so they might have forgotten to test that page to make sure it looked OK in IE.
you guys helped me a lot - and Logos as well, since I now know how fast a Firefox installation works (IE user) and I couldn't help buying some ressources that I had given a look in the past and had decided not to buy (BST NT commentary series - I already own half of it in paperback - and the works of F. Schaeffer)

Nothing below Word that is why I was clicking on banner. I am using Internet Explorer.
Same thing for me!
it was the same for me, too - what you need to do is to install another internet browser (or wait for Logos' developers to wake up [seems like its near 4 a.m. where they live], take notice of this thread, be ashamed for their sloppy work, find the error that precludes IE from loading the page correctly [which might take some time], fix that error [which might take seconds or hours or be impossible, then they may try to set up two different pages] - I'm sure they will provide a way for IE users to see all the offers befor the time on purchasing runs out).
Have joy in the Lord!
I've reported the problem with IE to Stephen Smith and hopefully he will be able to get one of the web developers to fix it ASAP.
In the meantime, if anyone using Internet Explorer is having trouble seeing the page, try downloading one of the other browsers and using that instead (they're all free):
Firefox: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/firefox.html
Google Chrome: http://www.google.com/chrome
Thanks for the heads-up. I did check safari, firefox, chrome and IE before going live with this and everything looked good. I wonder if the issue is outdated versions of Internet Explorer.
Two months ago I didn't know a thing about HTML, FBML, or CSS coding...now I'm going to learn about fixing browser-compatibility issues and making things backward compatible!

well, since IE 9 came out just recently, I wouldn't call IE 8 outdated (more so since MicroSoft users know from experience that new software should be given some weeks months to mature....) - wouldn't bet all my money that there will not be some relevant security fixes for IE 9 until summer. In fact, I think my employer makes me use IE 6 or 7 with no opportunity to install third party software such as freeware browsers, and such as me I believe there are lots of people out there who really use "outdated" browsers and other software.

Just got one-time approval from a publisher on a MAJOR 50% off deal!
The Essential IVP Reference Collection Version 3
Yes, that is a great deal and ought to sell quite briskly. Probably the biggest bargain on the whole list. Highly recommended.

Yes,
and there was some big warning on these forums about not upgrading to
IE9 just yet because it breaks something in Logos or biblia.com or
something. Too lazy to go look it up now.

This is totally awesome and everyone who doesn't have it should go for this. Note that you can't get the 50% discount via that link. You have to be on Facebook to get it. Worth getting a Facebook account for. And *Like* Logos while you're at it!

I had successfully resisted your Facebook offerings——Until now. I had avoided purchasing this set because I have it in that other Mac Bible Study software, but now you have made it overwhelming attractive. My wallet just lost $95. If only I could lose weight as easily as my wallet does [8-|]
I was checking out the New Bible Commentary and love how some of the words are keyed to the dictionaries and pocket dictionaries.
