In a 2 column resource window, how do I highlight the end of the second column and have the highlighting continue to somewhere in the beginning of the first column on the next section? Thanks
Simply click at the location you want to start the highlight and then drag to the spot you want to stop the highlight and apply the highlighting.

EDIT: For reasons I'm uncertain the audio is quite choppy, sorry but it was a quick and dirty video.
The only time it gets tricky is when you want to highlight something that continues on to the next page. I've found the only way to do that is to temporarily turn off columns, unless someone has a better option.

Rosie showed how to do this here in this wiki article: Tip: selecting text across page boundaries
The issue is the one described by LaRosa, wanting to continue the highlighting to the succeeding (not shown) first column. Thanks anyway.
This is precisely my issue and like you had to revert to switching it into a one column to finish the highlighting. Thanks.
You can click at the beginning of the text you want to highlight and drag the selection to the end of the current page, then switch pages and hold down shift and click at the end of the text you want to highlight--this will extend the selection from the previous page. Then apply your desired highlight style. It will apply it to the selected text on both pages.
Edit: steve has linked to a visual description of this same method.
Awesome! I love when I get to learn something new! [:)] Thanks guys!
Thank you, Todd. I too like LaRosa am grateful for the insight that brothers like you bring to the forum. Blessings
