How does one highlight a Pop Up Note, i. e., you click on a note number which then pops up the note and you want to highlight what is on the note? Thanks.
You can't. You can only highlight in the main text.
How does one highlight a Pop Up Note
There does not appear to be a way. As soon as you click on the Highlight Pallet, the pop-up goes away. The footnotes do not seem to exist in a separate list as in a print book.
F-4 Jock: Are any of those still on active duty? I remember driving past NAS Oceana during flight ops. They seemed to make a vertical ascent right over the road—rather noisy.
No, Jack, they are now obsolete and are (chagrin) used as drones for the Raptor (F-22). What you have seen and heard are more than likely F-18s. I have in fact, though, done what is called an "unrestricted climb request" where I go vertical after take off with full afterburners climbing at the rate of 1,000 feet per second.
Thank you, Todd. I hope this feature will be available down the road since it makes sense to have it. There are notes that are worthy of highlighting.

If you haven't already done so, go and vote for our comprehensive suggestion to improve Notes. I believe highlighting is included on the list.

They could not have been F-18. The experience I described took place in 1963 when I was attending Guided Missile School a few miles beyond Oceana. There was at least one F-4 squadron stationed there at the time.
That is what I saw and heard. I believe some of those guys were Marines.
